Meet the Instructor:

My name is Jacquelyn Hams and I am an Assistant Professor of Earth Science at Los Angeles Valley College. Welcome to my homepage.

I teach Oceanography1 lecture and lab, Physical Geology 1 lecture and lab, Environmental Science, and Planetary Science. This fall 2008, I am teaching the following classes:

Geology 1 Online (section 7020 and 7051)
Oceanography 1 Online (section 7023 and 7029)
Oceanography 10 Laboratory Online (section 7030)
Oceanography 1 traditional (section 1682)

Traditional classes meet in the classroom, while online classes are conducted 100% online and there are no class meetings. Hybrid classes meet 55% of the time online and 45% online.
